Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to provide a philosophical understanding of the human well-being and existential crisis, with a special focus on the role of the spiritual dimension. Drawing on the conceptual frameworks of Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy and Axel Honneth’s theory of recognition, the authors examine the areas of well-being: physical, psycho-social, and spiritual. This philosophically grounded approach is enriched by empirical research focusing on how the logotherapeutic life-affirming triad–meaning, hope, and potential for meaningful action–manifests in the context of fertility difficulties. The findings suggest that this triad can serve as a practical framework for supporting the reconstruction of a sense of dignity and internal coherence in existential crisis situations.
