Summary/Abstract: This study explores the development of bioethics and its applicability within the contemporary healthcare system, with a particular focus on the bioethical interpretation of patient complaints. As medical science advances, it gives rise to previously unexamined ethical dilemmas, prompting new frameworks of thought for professionals engaged in bioethical inquiry. In addition to the ethical dimensions, the paper provides an overview of the evolution of both international and domestic legal regulations underpinning patient complaints. Through selected case studies, the analysis applies core bioethical principles to the examination of two patient complaints. While the paper does not aim to provide a critical evaluation of the current complaint management system, its findings may offer valuable insights for the integrated interpretation of bioethics, patient rights, complaints, and complaint-handling processes. Furthermore, it may shed light on potential strategies for the prevention of patient grievances.
