Psychiatric Patients in the Labyrinth of the Healthcare System and Society

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to present the organic developmental process that enabled the institutionalization of the healthcare system, and specifically of psychiatry, in Hungary. With my work, I aim to illustrate the multifaceted nature of this process and at the same time highlight what further actions may still be necessary at the table of health law in relation to this narrower field, in order to create a patient-centered, integrated care organization.
