Summary/Abstract: The concept of green logistics has emerged as a result of conducting all fundamental stages of the supply chain from an environmentally friendly and sustainable perspective. The public’s association of the term "green" with climate and eco-friendliness has played a significant role in the naming of "green logistics." As the world becomes increasingly crowded, the demand for goods and services has risen, thereby intensifying supply chain activities. The rapid depletion of limited resources has further emphasized the importance of green logistics practices. Green logistics encompasses processes such as packaging, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. This study aims to identify trends in green logistics research conducted since the year 2000. To this end, 1082 publications related to green logistics in the Web of Science database were analyzed using bibliometric methods. The visualization of the bibliometric data was carried out using the VOSviewer software (Version 1.6.20). The analysis covered publication counts and types by year, citation analysis, country-level analysis, cocitation networks, and keyword analysis. According to the findings, research on green logistics has shown a rising trend since 2009, with the highest number of publications recorded in 2019. These results indicate a growing interest in the topic over time. Most contributions were in the form of journal articles and published in English. China was identified as the leading country in terms of the number of publications, followed by Poland. The most frequently used keywords were green logistics, sustainability, and sustainable development. Changan University emerged as the most active institution in the field, while Syed Abdul Rehman Khan was identified as the most prolific author.
