Summary/Abstract: Cultural diplomacy is one of the key dimensions of public diplomacy, using culture as a tool for fostering international reputation and trust. Literature and media, as forms of soft power, contribute to shaping the perception of nations in the global context. This paper explores how literature functions not only as an artistic expression but also as a diplomatic resource, while the media serve as intermediaries that transmit cultural values and narratives. From traditional forms to the digital era, new media platforms have transformed the dynamics of cultural representation. By applying imagology as a theoretical framework, the study examines how images of the “self” and the “other” are constructed through literature and media discourse, highlighting their importance in cultural exchange and international communication.
