Summary/Abstract: Every individiual bears a range of responsibilities, primarily toward those in their immediate environment, as well as toward their work, superiors, colleagues, and family. For a believer, in addition to these, there also exist responsibilities toward the Creator. In order to maintain the mental health, it is necessary that these responsibilities be fulfilled in a timely and appropriate manner without procrastinating. This study, first seeks to reveal the relationship between academic procrastination, worship procrastination and psychological well-being among students of Selçuk University. Subsequently, the students' psychological well-being, academic procrastination and worship procrastination will be examined in relation to various veriables. Accordingly, the aim of the study is to examine the relationships between worship procrastination, academic procrastination and psychological well-being both with each other and with the variables of gender, age, faculty, grade level, place of residence and level of religiosity. The study was conducted in the spring semester of 2024. Employing the relational survey method, the study utuilzed a data collection tool consisting of personel i nformation developed by the researcher, along with the Academic Procrastination, Worship Procrastination and Psychological Well-Being Scale. The questionnaires, which was completed by 389 respondents, were analyzed with the SPSS 23.0 statistical programme. The findings of the research indicated, a positive correlation between academic procrastination and both dimensions of worship procrastination. In addition a negative correlation was indentified between these two procrastination variabled and psychological wellbeing. The findings of the study indicated a negative correlation between age and academic procrastination, with the highest levels of procrastination observed among theology students and those who expressed a lack of interest in religion. In the context of fabrication of justification fort he deferral of worship, it has been observed that students from the faculty of education exhibit the highest means, while those enrolled in the theology faculty demonstrate the lowest. Third-grade students, as well as those residing in towns and villages demonstrate a lower propensity for procrastination in comparison to other demographic groups. The findings of this study indicate that, as religious devotion increases, the propensity to procrastinate in the performance of worship activities concomitantly declines. The study’s findings indicate that girls, students of the numeracy department, those residing in metropolitan cities, those who do not express interested in religion and those who are very religious elevated levels of psychological well-being.
