Summary/Abstract: Due to the lack of the well-preserved archives of the Union of Poles in Germany, the archival materials of the Supreme Presidium of the Province of Upper Silesia stored in the State Archives in Opole constitute some of the most significant sources on the activities of this organisation’s Opole District as well on the functioning of various Polish institutions (e.g. the consulate) in Opole Silesia. Among other things, they contain situational reports prepared by various administrative levels concerning the Union’s organisation as well as expert materials analysing the activities of the Union itself and Polish organisations operating on the Province of Upper Silesia’s territory. The paper outlines these materials with the emphasis on example reports and attachments generated by Polish organisations.
