Summary/Abstract: The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, through the Department of Modern Languages and Communication, organized during June-July 2025 an intensive Romanian language course for a group of teachers from the Republic of Moldova, Taraclia region. The aim of the course was to identify the most effective techniques for teaching Romanian to ethnic Bulgarians in the Republic of Moldova and to improve the pedagogical skills of the teachers by using modern teaching-learning-assessment methods and tools. Structured into modules focused on oral communication, writing, and Romanian morphosyntax, the course also included elements of Romanian culture and civilization, highlighted through visits to museums and cultural sites. This paper will address several theoretical and practical approaches to teaching grammar concepts, adapted to different student age groups (primary and lower secondary school), the use of effective learning and assessment strategies that stimulate creativity and integrate digital tools, as well as the most common difficulties depending on the CEFR level targeted. The principles behind this grammar module, which is generally considered less enjoyable by both students and often even by teachers, focused on integrating grammar concepts into engaging activities that combine multiple components (vocabulary, phonetics, spelling, etc.) and make use of both traditional and innovative teaching methods.
