UNDERSTANDING OF THE GOD-LOGOS IN SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE

Summary/Abstract: Christ is the Incarnate Word of God and this is the main argument for icon veneration. According to theological thought, the incarnate Word of God is Jesus Christ, the Son of God the Father and the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, through whom we can contemplate God, without this meaning that we reach His essence. However, in some scientific literature the Logos – the Word is understood as the written word, texts that are depicted.
