Summary/Abstract: In this study, the mansion (pavilion) bath, which was encountered during the unearthing of a stadium from the Roman Period in Bolu Akpınar District in 2008 and unearthed during the excavations carried out by the Bolu Museum Directorate in 2022, was introduced and evaluated. The excavation process and structure were introduced in the first part of the study. In the second part of the study, the plan features of these structures, which were identified in Anatolia and referred to as mansion (pavilion) bath in the literature, were evaluated. Baths, which are an important element of water structures in Turkish architecture, are classified as public and private baths according to their functions and usage forms. Private baths, on the other hand, are called palace, dervish lodge, barracks or waterside, mansion (pavilion) baths depending on the status and use of the property they are located in. In many Anatolian cities, it is a common tradition for the notables of the city to have baths built in the gardens or on the premises of their mansion (pavilion) bath. Bolu Akpınar Bath, which has a rectangular plan extending parallel to the seating rows of the stadium; It consists of a changing room in the north, a hot room in the southwest of the changing room, a water tank and a stove in the southeast. Based on the findings obtained during the excavation, records related to the neighborhoods that make up the city, and primarily its plan and architectural features, it has been evaluated that the bathhouse could be a Late Ottoman Period structure dating back to the 17th-19th centuries.
