Summary/Abstract: This paper shows how the events of the 2020s in Eastern Europe (particularly the 2020 political crisis in Belarus and Russia’s “special military operation” in Ukraine) have actualized and problematized the topic of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in Belarus, integrating it into current domestic and international politics. The study identifies and analyzes key manifestations and trends in the use of the narrative of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania by actors of Belarusian memory politics. It highlights the problems and contradictions of this memory politics and underscores the significance of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania for the present.
