Summary/Abstract: The study presents unpublished Árpádian age crosses and corpuses from the Csongrád area, which add new or rarely encountered types to the known finds from the territory of the Kingdom of Hungary. Most of the objects found with the help of metal detector could have been liturgical objects from village churches, some of which have not been traced in written sources or in popular memory. The presented finds show the diversity of Hungarian liturgical art based on their material and design. The paper also deals with the question of what role the Byzantine and Greek Orthodox religions, which were also expressed in church objects during the centuries of the Árpádian age, may have played in addition to the country's commitment to the Roman Pope, and with how their appearance at certain sites can be directly explained.
