Summary/Abstract: This article examines the contemporary state of the German economy through the lens of the post-war economic reforms that laid the groundwork for the socalled “economic miracle,” providing a review of Germany’s economic development and the ordoliberal principles that shaped its post-World War II economic policy. Despite growing calls for a new economic reform in contemporary German society, its implementation remains uncertain, largely due to the prevailing political configuration. Lastly, the article offers insights and recommendations relevant to Serbia’s economic policy.
