Summary/Abstract: Often described as the age of interpretation, the current times stem from thepostmetaphysical abandoning truth in favor of interpretation. Among other things, this change arises from ethical needs and stems from the desire to eliminate the possibilityof legitimizing violence through appeals to concepts supported by metaphysical ideas ofFoundation, Reality, and Truth. This article indicates the consequences of postmetaphysicalthought as well as its ethical justification, closely connected with the postmetaphysicalunderstanding of interpretation. The discussion begins with a reflection on the notion ofinterpretation and then proceeds to highlight its ethical significance.
