Summary/Abstract: The article examines a rare work in the manuscripts of Joseph Bradati and the writers from his circle – Yankul Hreliovski and Todor Vrachanski – Homily for the Nativity of Mother of God, which is found in manuscripts No. 689 and No. 760 from the collection of the National Library in Sofia. The composition of the miscellanies is analysed in comparison with a collection from the National Library of Serbia, No. 421, from 1742, which is an autograph of Joseph Bradati. However, this collection has not reached us because it was destroyed during the Second World War. Parallels are drawn with the copy in a miscellany written by Todor Vrachanski in 1761, National Library in Sofia, No. 338, etc. An attempt is made to characterise the approach of the writers to the topic and possible sources of the composition.
