Rapid-Decompression and Electromagnetic Interference. Testing of Tablets

Summary/Abstract: For tablets to be used on an aircraft, there are strict requirements to ensure they do not interfere in any way with the aircraft's equipment and systems during critical flight phases. This article presents the results of functional tests conducted in a vacuum chamber on tablets under decompression and electromagnetic interference conditions. Following the tests, conducted in accordance with European standards, the devices were found to be fully operational and safe with respect to disrupting the aircraft's onboard systems
