Summary/Abstract: Transforming a natural talent for singing into vocal mastery is a complex and multi-layered process that continues throughout a singer‘s creative life. Practically, this art cannot be completely mastered – it is dynamically variable and new challenges are constantly emerging. These provocations are most characteristic and visible in pop music, which is changing most rapidly and has now reached a huge stylistic diversity. Globalization is constantly expanding musical geography, and technology is making music production easier to access. Greater opportunities and new formats are created for the realization of vocal performers. They are often associated with the mastery of technique characteristic of various styles or the experimentation with local ethnomusical techniques.
