Summary/Abstract: The report presents results of an empirical study of job satisfaction of university lecturers in Bulgaria. The study was conducted electronically in the period 15.04.2025 - 30.05.2025 on the principle of random systematic selection with stratification of at least 10% of lecturers working on a basic employment contract in higher education institutions in our country. 1783 university lecturers or 13.80% from all fields of higher education, both in public and private higher education institutions, participated in it.The focus is on satisfaction with the characteristics of the work environment - tasks performed, satisfaction with management, colleagues, remuneration for work done, etc.
