Summary/Abstract: This report focuses on a dramaturgical approach that is increasingly common, both in devised performances and in documentary-based performances - the combination of documentary materials (speech, interviews, biographical fragments, court records, etc.) with fairytale narratives and characters. It explores the connections between archetypal situations and characters and current political and social events, giving examples from performances of companies like Panic Button Theater and OSAIK 36 Monkeys.
