Summary/Abstract: This research provides an interpretation of the consecration service of a church, as described in the contemporary Romanian Arhieraticon, addressing its theological, symbolic, and mystagogical dimensions. The consecration is not merely the dedication of a sacred space, but an act of spiritual transfiguration, through which the church becomes a place where heaven and earth meet. In the Orthodox context, this service affirms the divine presence in a visible way, transforming the church into an icon of the Kingdom of God on earth. The paper offers a synthesis between Orthodox dogma and liturgical symbolism, asserting that the consecration is not only a ritual act but also a manifestation of the divine presence and work within the Church, through the sacraments and sacred art.
