Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes activities of Lev Karsavin in Eurasian movement during his life time in Lithuania (Kaunas). This movement was on the threshold of a final split into its „right“ (anti-communism) and „left“ (pro soviet) wings. Special role in this story was played by the Eurasian leftist magazine Eurasia that was published in Paris during 1928-1929. The main ideological line was an acceptance of the new communist Russia – USSR. Lev Karsavin, who joined the Eurasian movement in 1925 and started living in Kaunas in 1928, was one of the main authors. As a philosopher he was the most significant in this movement. This article focuses both on Karsavin’s written texts in „Eurasia“ and his Lithuanian publications on this subject matter.
