Summary/Abstract: In 2002, the Iranian nuclear crisis erupted following the revelation that Iran had undeclared nuclear facilities and has yet to achieve a general consensus. In the post-2002 period, Iran has continued to pursue its nuclear program despite all international pressures and is now very close to becoming a nuclear threshold state. The continuation of Iran's nuclear program, which will give Iran strategic advantages in terms of global and regional policies, is supported by all parties in Iranian politics. This study aims to analyze the history of Iran's nuclear program and its impact on Iran's domestic and foreign policies and security. To this end, the article first examines the existing literature on the subject, evaluates the policies of domestic and foreign policy makers regarding Iran's nuclear activities, and analyzes the effects of the program on Iran's security.
