Summary/Abstract: The verbalization of concepts ”EGOISM” – “ALTRUISM” has been investigated in the article. The peculiarities of their verbalization have been analyzed in the texts of German newspapers since the first half of the 20-th century. Adjectives with the meanings of “egoistic” – “altruistic” are the most usable parts of the language that deal with the verbalization of the concepts “EGOISM” – “ALTRUISM”.
