Summary/Abstract: Female criminality represents one of the major social problems of the modern society. As part of overall crime, it reflects its common features. At the same time, certain peculiarities are specific to female criminality, conditioned by the social biological and psychological characteristics of women, by their place and role in the system of social relations. Obviously, all these aspects need to be thoroughly studied in order to develop effective policies that would substantially reduce the danger and negative trends of this negative phenomenon.
