Summary/Abstract: In today’s world, disinformation has becomea powerful tool of hybrid warfare that threatens the sta-bility and security of many states. This article explores thebest practices of countering disinformation in Europeancountries, in particular, the Baltic states of Estonia, Latviaand Lithuania. The main purpose of the article is to ana-lyse the various strategies and mechanisms for counteringdisinformation developed by these countries and to deter-mine their relevance for Ukraine. The Baltic states are de-veloping and implementing various methods of combatinginformation threats in light of the ongoing hybrid war withRussia. Ukraine, which faces similar challenges, can use thisexperience to strengthen its information security. The articleexamines the main elements of the Baltic states’ strategies,their successes and challenges, which allows us to drawconclusions and provide recommendations for improvingUkraine’s information resilience. The common historical andgeopolitical context makes this study relevant and importantfor both regions.
