Summary/Abstract: The study presents two golden earrings of the type defined in the scientific literature as fan-shaped or Dragizhevsky. They reflect the high aristocratic fashion of the developed fourteenth century and are examined through analogies in pieces of jewelry and frescoes of the period in the Balkan context. Their discovery in Tarnovo illustrates the fashions of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom and is probably a testimony to the crafts practiced in the Bulgarian capital. The two earrings were found in a residential area in the first half of the 15th century. This environment does not correspond to their status and chronology and reflects their transformation into vaulted metal at a later stage of their existence.
