Summary/Abstract: In a world that changes daily, starting from the economic, technological, energy, and security aspects, appropriate steps are always needed to be taken to keep up with developments. Of particular importance is monitoring the security situations in various crisis hotspots and taking timely actions for countries, especially when they are part of military alliances, such as NATO member states. This paper aims to make a comprehensive analysis of the resilience of NATO member states to the current security challenges facing the world. We will use appropriate methods for the needs of this scientific paper, listing the historical, descriptive, comparative method and SWOT analysis. First, the international security circumstances in which the world finds itself today will be described and clarified, especially the Russia-Ukraine war and the possible effects on NATO member states and their resilience. This paper, in addition to providing the desired results, aims to encourage other research by other researchers, which will be related to issues of international security and the position of the Western Balkan countries within global alliances.
