Summary/Abstract: This study is based on sources from the Archives of Yugoslavia (Cabinet of the President of the Republic fund), Pristina and Belgrade newspapers that reported on Tito's visit to Kosovo in 1975, party documents, and relevant scholarly literature. The event is important for understanding the socio-economic and political conditions in Kosovo after the country's constitutional recomposition in 1974. There is a noticeable contrast between the real problems in Kosovo, primarily those of an interethnic and economic nature, and their public treatment by Tito during his visit.
