Status and trends in the development of the residential property market in the regional cities in Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: The material value of real estate is becoming a key element of Bulgaria‘s economy. The total turnover in the „Real estate operations“ sector is growing rogressively,reaching approximately 7% of the total turnover of enterprises in the country in 2023. The subject of the present study is the state of the residential real estate market in the central parts of the regional cities in Bulgaria and tracking the trends in its development over the last 20years. The purpose of the author of this article is to analyze the factors affecting the market, to examine and compare different parameters, to reveal dependencies between them and to offer better information to its participants.
