Portrait of a Secret Collaborator of the “Security Service” (SB) of the Polish People’s Republic: Research on Archival Sources of the SB (Department VI in Szczecin) Using Machine Learning Algorithms and Prosopographic Analysis

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to characterize the secret collaborators of the Security Service of the Polish People’s Republic by traditional (proso- pographic analysis) and digital (application of the decision tree machine learning algorithm) methods, and to compare the effectiveness of the two methods for indicating what characterized the collaborators making personal denunciations.
