Summary/Abstract: This dossier, The Parade of Debutants – Poetry, was initiated following the observation of an impressive and diverse wave of poetic debuts in recent years, many of them remarkable. The project aims to provide a panoramic view of Romanian poetry debuts from the last decade (2014–2025), offering a framework for analyzing the current poetic landscape. Poets who debuted during this period were invited to select representative works and respond to five reflective questions regarding the conditions of poetic debut in contemporary Romania, as well as their aesthetic and ideological positioning at the start of their literary journey. The resulting material—comprising over 200 debuting voices—reveals both the richness and complexity of the new poetic generation. Given the scale of the project, the dossier is published across multiple issues, adopting a plural and democratic approach rather than a strictly hierarchical one.
