The European identityis presented as a dynamic, collective construct, shaped by cultural interactions, shared values, and historical memory. Modern technology transforms the production, transmission, and perception of cultural values, creating a hybrid space between tradition and innovation. Artificial intelligence functions as an active cultural agent generating content, filtering information, and influencing cultural experiences. The study highlights both opportunities– such as democratizing access to culture, fosteringcreativity, and preserving heritage– and risks, including content homogenization, polarization, and weakening of cultural diversity. Ethical considerations, including algorithmic accountability, transparency, and protection of individual rights, are emphasized. The article und erscores the need for regulation, digital literacy, and critical reflection to integrate AI responsibly. European identity in the digital era emerges through a continuous dialogue between technology, culture, and shared values, ina process that values and integrates diverse perspectives.
