Summary/Abstract: This article includes the analysis of two choral cycles for school-age children’s choir composed by ZlataTcaci in the late1980s. The article provides brief information about the composer’s work, pedagogical activity, and lists the works for children written in the 1980s-1990s. The main section of the article contains information about the themes of the analyzed choralcycles, the authors of the texts, musical forms, sound planes, meter, and some compositional procedures used by the composerin the mentioned works. The educational role that these cycles play in developing children’s feelings of love for their homeland is also emphasized. Taking into account the need for children to play, the composer appeals to various imaginative moments of playing, and by using widely known poetic texts, Zlata Tcaci succinctly and precisely embodies in her creation the musical images that are understandable to everyone.
