Summary/Abstract: The adoption of EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) has set an ambitious target to create a safer digital space for consumers and greater accountability for digital service providers. The Regulation lays down new legal rules mainly on: tackling illegal content online, including the marketing of goods, services and information, in full respect of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, addressing the societal risks that can arise online, traceability of commercial transactions in online marketplaces, transparency measures for online platforms, etc. This study aims to analyze how the DSA has been implemented in some European countries. Although the European regulations have direct applicability in Member States’ legislation, for the DSA it was deemed necessary to adopt specific national legislation, which is why the European Commission has launched an infringement procedure for certain Member States.
