PERFORMANCES, INITIATIVES AND PERSPECTIVES WITHIN THE MOLDOVAN-ROMANIAN ARTISTIC UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP

Summary/Abstract: The present article is intended to be an approach that evokes both the historical personalities, who contributed to the development of modern artistic education in Iaşi, as well as to reviewing some actions undertaken until today within the Partnership Agreement concluded on March 6, 2008 between the”George Enescu” University of Arts in Iasi and the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau. The 17 years of partnership between the two institutions have meant a spectacular evolution both bilaterally and in collaboration with third parties (other universities in the Republic of Moldova and Romania).Throughout these years, AMTAP teachers and students have been invited to give recitals on UNAGE stages, to participate invarious interpretation (clarinet, saxophone, piano) or composition competitions, at festivals, projects, conferences and symposiums. Many of them have been awarded. The actions were mutual: the teaching staff, students, master’s and doctoral students of UNAGE showed off their performances in front of the Chisinau public
