Summary/Abstract: There are many opportunities to express personal identity in the genres of photography (from portraits of professional photographers to the selfies of today). A completely different kind of pictorial genre, combining more complex elements, is the tableau image, where portraits appear in the environment of graphic tools and texts. It is made with conscious design, not driven by a sudden idea: it is formed by the visual expression of the collective identity, connected to an important stage in the formation of our identity, which is the end of the student years, the beginning of adulthood. This period is also accompanied by a series of ritual events (graduation, graduation exams, social events, etc.). In the 21st century, amidst the ever-expanding technical possibilities, millions of snapshots of our everyday lives can be taken, yet the habit of making screensavers is alive and well, with tens of thousands voting for it in online tournaments. A screensaver is either a visual document of last-minute community togetherness or a product of individual creativity. It also provides representation of the institution to the general public as well during a given period, while also represents the class later on the walls of the schools. These images are undergoing a significant transformation even today, following the possibilities of the digital age. The often astonishing spectacle is no longer just a visual expression of a local or professional identity, but pictorial elements and references usually serve a higher consciousness.
