Summary/Abstract: Digital transformation brings with it not only opportunities for development, but also numerous challeng‑ es. One such challenge is effectively protecting children and young people from the dangers posed by mod‑ ern technology. As the increased use of the internet by minors is partly due to the spread of mobile devices, a common suggestion for protecting the youngest is to restrict smartphone use in schools.
