Summary/Abstract: The present material examines media publications dedicated to the crisis at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, which arose as a result of the conflict between Alexander Morfov and Velislava Krasteva. The analysis focuses on the genre, stylistic, and lexical characteristics of a corpus of texts published in Frognews.bg and Impressio.dir.bg. Special attention is given to the way in which the two media outlets cover the conflict, to the rhetorical strategies employed by the main speakers on the topic, as well as to the transformation of the narrative over the course of the crisis through the involvement of both direct and indirect participants.
