XX Years of “Concilium Latinum Lodziense”

Summary/Abstract: In 2025, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Latin conference Concilium Latinum Lodziense, held annually since 2004 at the University of Lodz by the Department of Classical Philology at UŁ, the Polish Philological Society, and the UŁ Foreign Languages Center. This article presents a brief history of the conference along with the themes of its individual editions. The aim of the paper is not only to introduce the event but, above all, to promote living Latin and encourage participation in future editions of Concilium by Latinists from Poland and abroad.
