Summary/Abstract: The Bartholomew culture and phenomenon took over and cultivated a personal appetite by transmitting a bunch of dreams from a cluster of personalities who inspired the visionary pen of young people, like Varlaam, Dosoftei, Antim Ivireanul, Andrei Șaguna, Nicolae Iorga, Simion Mehedinți, or, why not, Nichifor Crainic. What would the archetype of Bartholomew identity with the trajectories of a culture, actually look like? His personality, seen and turned through the lens of multiple facets and were to be confirmed by the existence and creation of a bond between intellectuals and theologians. One of the great spiritual fathers of the Orthodox Church and culture sees a chance of respite in the strength of young people, Dumitru Stăniloae, a seemingly simplistic vision, but one of real strength and pedagogical capacity: "We would like to see such personalities or a great current appearing alongside the generation of intellectuals, coming close to the ancestral Church (...), the unconditional force for the preservation of our national identity."
