In order to analyse Kwapisz's poetry, weconsulted the archive of the weekly magazine "Niva", as well as the 1980 editionof the "Belaveža" literary almanac. We managed to find a total of 11 poems datingfrom 1976 to 1980 which we analysed from the linguistic and literary point ofview. After our study of Barbara Kwapisz's works, we came to the conclusion thather poetry deserves both recognition and scientific attention, since she is both akey representative of the phenomenon of exophony in the Belarusian languageand a notable poet.
