Summary/Abstract: During the armed resistance in the war with the United States of America, Vietnam received support from other socialist states, including Romania, which offered it economic, political, and diplomatic aid. Using documents from the collections of the Central National Archives and the Diplomatic Archives of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the main purpose of this article is to highlight the diplomatic efforts made by the Romanian authorities to find a way, accepted by both sides, to end the Vietnam War.
