Summary/Abstract: In the age of social media, crisis communication management requires a delicate balance between responsiveness, transparency and accountability. It is up to companies to anticipate potential crises, leverage social media to establish effective dialogue and engage in a long-term approach to restoring their image. The effectiveness of the discursive strategies adopted depends on their ability to regain the trust of stakeholders while aligning their communication with society’s expectations. To achieve this, it is essential to master the nuances of discourse, to rely on authentic values and to demonstrate both transparency and adaptability in a context marked by complex and constantly changing environments. Theoretical frameworks converge on one key observation: the effectiveness of the discursive strategies deployed by companies depends on their ability to restore stakeholder confidence and align their communication with societal expectations. Whether through public apologies, concrete commitments or dialogue with stakeholders, these strategies all aim to redefine the company's image as a responsible and credible actor. Reputational crises are not just a defensive episode: they are an opportunity for the company to strengthen its social capital, improve its practices and demonstrate its resilience. To be successful, it is imperative to master the subtleties of discourse, draw on authentic values and demonstrate transparency and adaptability in complex and constantly changing environments. Crisis communication is based on a balance between responsiveness, transparency and accountability. Companies must anticipate potential crises, use social media to communicate effectively and work to rebuild their image with a long-term perspective.
