Summary/Abstract: The current article investigates the use of digital assessment tools in the context of music education. Given the importance of assessment in the learning process, continuous assessment of student performance is necessary to ensure that they are achieving the required learning objectives. Teachers recognize the important role that assessment and feedback play in students' motivation and self-esteem. Constructive criticism can help students improve, increasing their confidence and interest, especially in music. The active involvement of students in their own learning through self-assessment and reflection determines a sense of responsibility in their educational journey. When assessment is considered an important tool, deeper learning and a more enjoyable, even self-directed, learning experience is encouraged. The article looks at how digital assessment works in music education by testing skills such as performance, composition and theory in a digital context. At the same time, tools and platforms are explored, highlighting the perspectives of interactive learning, creativity and personalized feedback, by emphasizing the ability of technology to change assessment in music education.
