Summary/Abstract: The subject of the analysis is a set of photographs by Piotr Kowalski documenting spontaneous actions on the terrace of the Paris apartment of Pontus Hulten – director of the Centre Pompidou, in participation with Hulten and Elzbieta Grabska. Pontus Hulten performs in a Soviet Army officer’s shinel that he illegally bought in Moscow, while working on the exhibition “Paris – Moscou”. The photographs become a starting point for tracing the protagonists’ life relationships, based on unknown archival materials.
