Summary/Abstract: This review article aims to present the main ideas presented in Ameryka (America) by Filip Lipinski. The article discusses individual chapters of Lipinski’s work and places them, at times, in a broader socio-cultural context. The reviewer repeatedly enters into a polemic with the author, which leads to an even more comprehensive revision of the American myth.
