Summary/Abstract: Yugoslav diplomatic reports from Turkey in 1943 pointed out the mission of Albert Szent Gyorgyi in the difficult times of the World War II. Dissociating from fascism and new German order, he drew attention of the Western Allies to the risk of arrival of the soviet communist army from the East. Thus, he invested his scientific name in the attempts to save what could be saved from the politicians and the belligerent military elite. He attempted to realign the national corpus, at the time when contrast between the Soviet and Western viewa on post-war organization and division of spheres of influence grew larger. Szent Gyorgyios activity was limited, although he managed to reach the representatives of the Allies in Tur-key, who took notice of his advice, but were no longer able to respond. They were unable to achieve anything neither in politics nor in warfare. Victorious Red Army was approaching from the East. Its troops had crossed over Hungary, entered Vienna and German capital of Berlin, which marked the end of World War II.
