Summary/Abstract: In the third decade of the 21st century, it is evident that there has been a significant acceleration ineconomic and technological development on a global scale across all aspects of human life. Arti-ficial intelligence, ChatGPT, autonomous robots, cloud data storage, and Google VR are solutionsactively implemented in healthcare systems. At the same time, the world is ageing. It is estimatedthat by 2030—primarily in Europe, North America, and China—there will be 400 million morepeople over the age of sixty than there are in 2024. In this dynamically changing environment, thepatient is situated within the healthcare institution. The attempt to answer the question of whatlogistical and organizational challenges exist in various areas of the functioning of healthcareinstitutions concerning senior patients has become an incentive to address the topic and compilea list of obstacles and limitations that seniors could face, as identified by them in medical processes.
