Preparation and conduct of fire control exercises

Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of an analysis of training documents related to the preparation and conduct of fire control exercises. The regulations outlined in programmes and instructions were compared with the practical implementation of training within military units. A sample algorithm of actions for the exercise leader during the preparation phase and the conduct of fire control exercises is presented. Additionally, the need to clarify certain issues concerning the discussed topic is highlighted.
