Summary/Abstract: An outstanding Georgian scholar, literary critic Revaz Tvaradze, studying Georgian literary process, used phrase-construction “fifteen-centyries unity” underlining devotion of the Georgian writers to national ideals in different epochs and different historical and political situations. In the twenties of the 21st century we`ll try to analyse the meaning of the paradigm of the Father/”Sveti-Tskhoveli” (main Georgian cathedral/”The Light Pillar”) in the texts of different epochs – 12-13th and 20-21st centuries. The paradigm of the Father/Old Day is reflection of the First Person of Christian Trinity. We`ll analyse the following texts: 1. Nikoloz Gulaberisdze (12-13th century), “Sveti-Tskhoveli Reading”, 2. Zaira Arsenishvili (20-21st century), “Requiem”. Invariability of the Father paradigm is very important, we`ll try to study the meaning of a symbol in the texts of the Middle Ages and Post-Modernism. The presented article is a part of a complex study process of Georgian ecclesiastical/spiritual and post-modernism literary heritage. We have discussed the paradigm of the Father/”The Old Day” from the Biblical-religious perspective.
